Westin Sommet

Translated to English the name Sømmet means "the Nail" - and it will nail those big trout. This in-line lure is a perfect long-casting lure and one of the all-time favorites among hardcore sea trout anglers in parts of Scandinavia. It might look like a nail, but in the water, it's a great imitation of a sand eel - perhaps the most important prey for big sea trout hunting in shallow water.

Rigging tip: Run your line through the lure and use a small round or oval bead to protect the knot before tying the line to a single- or treble hook of your choice. If you prefer a free-swinging hook we recommend mounting the hook on an oval split ring and tying the knot to the double-stranded part of the ring.
