Shipping Policy

Order Processing & Shipping

  • Processing Time: Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday). You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.

  • Delivery Time: Most orders arrive within 1–14 business days in Canada and the US, depending on location and carrier.

  • Shipping Carriers: We use the most cost-effective Canadian carrier for your region. Carrier selection is at Rugged Tackle’s discretion.

Pre-Ordered Items

  • Order Holds: Orders containing pre-ordered items will be held until all items are in stock. The full order will ship together.

  • Split Shipments: If you wish to split your order and ship in-stock items separately, an additional shipping charge will apply. Contact us to arrange this.

  • Pre-Order Changes: Pre-ordered items cannot be removed or substituted unless Rugged Tackle initiates contact. If you wish to cancel a pre-ordered item, store credit will be issued.

Local Pickup

  • Availability: Local pickup is available for in-stock products. Orders will be ready the next business day.

  • Scheduling: We will call you to arrange a pickup time after your order is placed.

Shipping Rates & Free Shipping

  • Calculated Shipping: Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on order value, size, weight, and destination.

  • Free Shipping: Orders over $150 (before taxes/discounts) qualify for free shipping within Canada and the US, excluding oversized items (such as rods and nets). Oversized items will be subject to additional shipping charges regardless of order value.

Remote Regions & Oversized Items

  • Remote Regions: Orders to remote regions (e.g., Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut) or with oversized packages may incur additional shipping charges after checkout. You will be notified by email if this applies.

  • Order Cancellation: Rugged Tackle reserves the right to cancel any order due to excessive shipping costs. A full refund will be issued if this occurs.

Multiple Packages

  • Split Shipments: Orders requiring multiple boxes may incur additional shipping charges. You will be notified if this applies.

Duties & Taxes

  • Canada: Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.

  • US: Customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or import fees required by US customs.

Address Accuracy

  • Responsibility: Please ensure your shipping address is correct. Rugged Tackle is not responsible for delays or additional charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Lost or Damaged Packages

  • Claims: If your package is lost or arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.
